About
Tymon Tai, M.D., has joined the Facial Plastic Surgery Associates team through the esteemed fellowship led by Dr. Kridel and seeks to advance her training in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery under the guidance of Dr. Kridel.
Education & Training
Dr. Tai attended medical school at University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine in Los Angeles, California. In addition to a medical degree (MD), Dr. Tai completed his residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at USC Caruso Department of Otolaryngology. He has also completed an additional Research Fellowship at the Department of Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine of Keck school of Medicine of USC.
He has also received numerous Awards and Honors for research and overall leadership.
Awards & Recognitions
Dr. Tai has received numerous academic merit awards and scholarships in both undergraduate and medical school. He already has an impressive list of research achievements and has co-authored multiple peer-reviewed publications. Several of his projects led to presentations at national conferences.
Community
Dr. Tai is very active in youth and student physician mentorship programs. He speaks multiple languages including Mandarin and Cantonese and has lived in Hong Kong and Canada. A Rock Music fan, Dr. Tai also plays the French Horn and spent a year in college playing the Mellophone in the internationally-recognized USC Trojan Marching Band.
