Morpheus 8

in Houston, TX

Facial plastic surgeons, Dr. Russell Kridel and Sean Delaney, use a unique skin rejuvenating technique that produces gorgeous outcomes for Houston area patients with a treatment known as Morpheus 8 radiofrequency (RF) microneedling. Morpheus 8 RF treatments have quickly become very popular in the aesthetics industry for the impressive skin tightening and rejuvenating results it provides. This specific type of treatment utilizes radiofrequency energy via very small sterile needles to encourage the production of collagen in the deeper layers of the skin. Morpheus 8 creates a firmer, smoother surface using a stamping method as the handpiece is moved around the skin. To learn how you can achieve healthier skin, a smoother texture, and a luminous complexion, contact Facial Plastic Surgery Associates to schedule your visit.

What Sets Us Apart?

Dr. Kridel and Dr. Delaney are board-certified facial plastic surgeons who prides themselves on the precise and specialized treatment of the neck and face. These award-winning surgeons have written and published numerous book chapters and scientific articles focused on facial liposuction and rejuvenation. By focusing on a singular area of the body, our surgeons can ensure patients receive the most dramatic, albeit natural, results possible. At Facial Plastic Surgery Associates, you can trust that your aesthetic goals are our number one priority, which is what sets us apart from our competitors.

Procedure Technique

The process of Morpheus 8 RF microneedling is quite simple. The handpiece, which emits radiofrequency energy, works by providing brief pulses of RF energy through an array of 25 sterilized, gold-plated microneedles. The energy is transmitted via the needles, which concurrently puncture your skin and circles back the electrodes into the surface of the skin. The RF energy warms at levels that offer cumulative and continuing results. To achieve optimal results, the handpiece is slowly passed over the treatment area using a stamping technique to stimulate the production of collagen. Depending on your aesthetic goals, we may recommend a serum or platelet rich plasma to use on the face following treatment. To make sure you are comfortable during treatment, a topical anesthetic is applied to the skin prior to the treatment. For more aggressive treatment, we provide nerve blocks for added comfort or you may also use Pro-Nox. Pro-Nox is an FDA-approved pain relief system that helps reduce the discomfort during your treatment.

What To Expect After Treatment

Immediately following your treatment, your skin may appear red and feel tender to the touch. This will subside quickly as your skin heals and collagen is stimulated beneath the surface. Our surgeons may recommend a skin care regimen to expedite your healing and help your skin remain radiant. It is important that patients use facial sunscreen after treatment and henceforth, as the sun can comprise the health of your complexion. Optimal results are typically achieved 2 – 3 weeks after your Morpheus 8 treatment.

Morpheus 8 With Facetite

Many patients combine Morpheus 8 with FaceTite at the same time. Morpheus 8 reaches under your skin to help remodel the fat underneath. This is for remodeling and encourages your skin to make new cells, including new collagen. FaceTite is for countouring and can help with early stages of laxity. Both are a minimally invasive technique, so downtime is minimal, usually just a few days. Patients can also combine these with Submental Liposuction which reduces stubborn under the chin fat.

Morpheus 8 Faqs

The cost of your Morpheus 8 RF microneedling session could vary according to the number and size of your treatment area(s). After a consultation with a member of our team, we will discuss your goals and determine the cost of your procedure. Facial Plastic Surgery Associates proudly accepts a wide variety of payment methods and may be able to help you apply for financing.

While each patient’s skin and aesthetic goals are different, most patients achieve beautiful results with 1 – 4 sessions. During your consultation with one of our surgeons, we will be better able to determine the number of treatments you need.

If you’re in good overall health and beginning to notice skin laxity on your face and/or neckline, Morpheus 8 RF microneedling may be the right treatment for you. Morpheus 8 is also a great option for those who wish to firm their skin, enhance their overall facial appearance, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and reverse mild sun damage and age spots.

If you feel some anxiety before treatment you can also use Pro-Nox which will help enhance the effects of local anesthetics. Pro-Nox is a 50/50 combination of oxygen and nitrous oxide which you inhale. The effects wear off quickly when you simply breathe in natural air. Patients can then drive themselves home.
When multiple procedures are combined, such as Morpheus 8 with FaceTite and/or Submental Liposuction, the surgeon will most likely recommend the use of Pro-Nox or IV Sedation.

The surgeon will discuss with you the various pain relief options that best match your needs at the time of your consultation.
