This beautiful patient desired both cosmetic changes for her nose and an improvement in her nasal obstruction. She had previously had a septoplasty with another surgeon but her breathing did not improve significantly despite the surgery.
On examination, she had a severely deviated septum anteriorly that was not addressed at her previous surgery. Dr. Delaney performed an extracorporeal septoplasty where the septum was removed from the body, reshaped and straightened, and then re-implanted into the nose.
Aesthetically, her nasal bridge was reduced and her tip was made smaller and rotated upward.
