This gentleman had severe nasal trauma that resulted in a crooked nose and septum that significantly impacted his ability to breathe through his nose. Due to his nasal obstruction he suffered from poor sleep and inability to exercise. He had a septoplasty by another surgeon elsewhere that did not improve his breathing. When he presented to Dr. Delaney for an evaluation, his nose and septum were both still very crooked and he had a dip in his nasal bridge that was indicative of a loss of support. He underwent a reconstructive rhinoplasty and revision septoplasty surgery to improve his breathing and appearance. Rib cartilage was used to completely rebuild his septum and correct the dip in his bridge.
