27 yr old Hispanic male from Houston wanted cosmetic improvement of his ears and his cheeks. He felt like his ears stuck out too much and that his cheeks were a little hollow looking. It is much easier to visualize the success of Otoplasty surgery from photos of the back of the head so that, like this patient, you can see the symmetry following surgery. With flash photography it is more difficult to see the differences in projection of the cheeks before and after malar implants. This patient was very happy with the results of the cheek augmentation because his cheeks looked full and natural following surgery. He no longer felt as though he need to have filler injections in that area.
