This healthcare professional came to Dr. Kridel for overall facial rejuvenation. During her consultation, she noted that she disliked the excess skin in her neck and jowls and that her eyebrows looked lower than they used to. She also disliked the "tired look" she had, especially under her eyes, and the wrinkles she had around her lips. Since she was interested in multiple procedures, this patient decided to undergo them all during a single surgery. It is very common for Dr. Kridel to combine facelift surgery with other surgical or non-surgical procedures. This can be quite beneficial to patients to avoid having anesthesia multiple times. While a facelift does not get rid of fine wrinkles or creases around the mouth and eyes, the surgeon can use a CO2 laser in these areas or the full face to remove the fine lines and revitalize skin texture. Many patients also have submental liposuction done at the same time to remove the fatty pouch under the chin. Some patients also combine facelift with eyelid surgery, known as blepharoplasty, to remove the upper eyelid drooping and under eye bags. Brow lift surgery is a permanent way to improve deep forehead wrinkles and support and reshape drooping brows that develop after years of facial expression.

Multiple Procedures Work Well

Often patients have more than one facial plastic surgery procedure, such as this woman in her sixties who had a facelift, browlift, eyelid surgery, and laser skin resurfacing around the mouth. When a patient is concerned about looking tired, they often have lax skin in the neck and jaw area as well as their eyelids and forehead. With the special MVP Lift technique for facelifts, Dr. Kridel achieves natural results with hidden incisions. As you can see from this woman's fantastic results, these procedures, individually and in combination, can remove years from an aging appearance.
