27 yr old Hispanic male from Houston was bothered by his protruding ears and hollowed cheeks. Referred by another surgeon to Dr. Kridel, the patient was very happy with the results of Otoplasty, also known as ear pinning, and chin augmentation surgery with Dr. Kridel. He felt as though his appearance was significantly improved. He did not need filler in his cheeks anymore and his ears looked natural.

Otoplasty & Cheek Implant

27 yr old Hispanic male from Houston wanted cosmetic improvement of his ears and his cheeks. He felt like his ears stuck out too much and that his cheeks were a little hollow looking. Like many, he was referred to Dr. Kridel by another surgeon for his skill in facial plastic surgical procedures. It is much easier to visualize the success of Otoplasty surgery from photos of the back of the head so that, like this patient, you can see the symmetry following surgery. With flash photography it is more difficult to see the differences in projection of the cheeks before and after malar implants. This patient was very happy with the results of the cheek augmentation because his cheeks looked full and natural following surgery. He no longer felt as though he need to have filler injections in that area.
