FaceTite: Minimally Invasive Facial Contouring as a Facelift Alternative.

Our surgeons at Facial Plastic Surgery Associates, Dr. Delaney and Dr. Kridel, are pleased to offer their patients FaceTite, a minimally invasive facial contouring treatment.

The procedure is performed by introducing a thin treatment wand underneath the skin of the face and neck. The wand is then used to deliver radiofrequency energy to melt away fat, tighten collagen fibers, and stimulate long-term tissue remodeling. While improvements can be seen immediately after the procedure, the tissue remodeling takes place over the course of many months and the treated areas will continue to improve up to 12 months after the procedure.

ideal candidates for FaceTite include those with mild skin laxity who may not need a facelift just yet but still want those bothersome areas treated. For those with more skin laxity who really would benefit most from a facelift but do not wish to have the recovery of a facelift the FaceTite treatment is the next best alternative because of its shorter recovery.

The FaceTite treatment is minimally invasive and quite well-tolerated. FaceTite is often combined with submental liposuction. Most of our patients have the procedure performed under oral or iv sedation only.

After the procedure, you may experience swelling and minimal bruising for approximately a week. After surgery, we have our patients wear a facial sling all day long for one week and in the evenings for another two weeks.

FaceTite is an exciting new treatment that utilizes radiofrequency energy to melt away fat and stimulate tissue remodeling for tighter and firmer skin. This treatment can be a good option for individuals with mild aging changes or who would prefer a shorter downtime.
