This beautiful patient underwent rhinoplasty to improve her nasal obstruction and make her nose smaller simultaneously. She had a septoplasty and inferior turbinate reduction at the same time. She has thick nasal skin, and at ten months after surgery, she still has swelling around the nasal tip. In individuals with thick skin, sometimes the swelling can take up to 18 months after surgery to fully resolve. She has a naturally small chin. We also placed a silicone chin implant to increase her chin projection to help balance her facial proportions.
