Our 25 year old patient had always been self conscious about her protruding ears. She would cover her ears with her hair and avoid wearing her hair up because she didn't want others to see notice her ears. She underwent an ear pinning surgery, also known as Otoplasty. The procedure was performed using an incision hidden behind the ear to access the ear cartilage. The cartilage was modified to set the ear back for a more natural appearance.
