About Dr. Sturm
Angela Sturm, M.D., FACS is an Associate facial plastic surgeon at FPSA working with Dr. Russell Kridel and our exceptional team to exceed all patients’ needs in the areas of face, nose and neck surgery. She is double board-certified by the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, as well as the American Board of Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery. Dr. Sturm has received many awards for surgical excellence from physicians and patients, including H-Texas Magazine’s Top Doc and the Patients’ Choice Award by Vitals.com.
Having completed the renowned fellowship program under Dr. Kridel, he states, “I know that Dr. Sturm shares the same commitment to the highest standard of patient care and surgical skill that has been the hallmark of our practice.”
Dr. Sturm has had extensive training in face and neck surgery. She is skilled to perform facial plastic surgery including rhinoplasty, facelift surgery, eye surgery, neck lift, facial implants and otoplasty. She also has extensive training and expertise in non-surgical modalities for facial rejuvenation; including advanced laser techniques, such as, Ulthera and Fraxel, as well as injectables, such as, Botox and Kybella. Dr. Sturm is passionate about working with patients using the latest aesthetic procedures, whether surgical, non-surgical or combination of both, to maintain their youthful appearance starting from an earlier age and throughout future life stages.
Education & Training
Dr. Sturm completed medical school and residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. After residency, Dr. Sturm entered the distinguished American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship and trained side-by-side with Dr. Russell Kridel to gain extensive expertise in cutting-edge facial rejuvenation and head and neck surgical techniques. She also completed important clinical research in the area of ethnic rhinoplasty, revision lower eyelid surgery, septoplasty, male rhinoplasty, revision rhinoplasty and the long-term effects of using irradiated cartilage in rhinoplasty.
Dr. Sturm is double board-certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Academy of Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery.
Awards & Recognitions
During her medical training, Dr. Sturm received numerous awards for her surgical excellence, including the Outstanding Otolaryngology Medical Student Award and the AAO-HNSF Medical Student Research Prize. She has also co-authored and published noteworthy medical journal articles on head and neck surgical techniques, as well as facial plastic surgical techniques.

Community & Appointments
Dr. Sturm is passionate about promoting health and wellness within our community through leadership involvement in multiple civic and charitable organizations. She was a Woman of the Year Candidate for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. She participates in the Leadership Houston D-tag Tattoo Removal Program and the Fittest Doctor Challenge. Dr. Sturm holds an interest in helping victims of domestic abuse and as a result supports Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse and provides complimentary care through The Face Foundation. Dr. Sturm also has a warm spot in her heart towards animals. She was a Citizens for Animal Protection Honoree and a member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo --- Lamb and Goat Auction Committee.
She has hospital appointments at The Methodist Hospital, Kirby Glen Ambulatory Surgery Center, First Street Hospital, West Side Hospital, Houston Surgical Center, Houston Hospital for Specialized Surgery and Memorial Hermann Hospital. She accepts major insurance plans for medically necessary surgical procedures.
