Hispanic Woman Has Nasal Hump Smoothed with Rhinoplasty*

Procedure Details

Hispanic 25 yr old wanted her nasal hump removed, as well as the overall appearance. Due to past injuries she had difficulty breathing. Following Rhinoplasty, Septoplasty to fix deviated septum and Turbinate surgery the patient is thrilled with the new look of her nose without the hump and in proportion with her facial anatomy. She is also happy that she can now breathe really well.

Hispanic Rhinoplasty Success

With Rhinoplasty surgery, the best facial plastic surgeons like Dr. Kridel take into consideration the patient's facial structure, goal for surgery and their ethnicity. There is not one standard nose for Hispanic Rhinoplasty or any other specific ethnic group. For this 25 year old Hispanic patient, she wanted removal of her nasal hump and a slightly more refined nose that was consistent with her overall shape of her face. The post-op Hispanic Rhinoplasty result shows a newly shaped nose that looks natural, as though the patient was born with it. The septum was deviated and the turbinates enlarged, so Septoplasty and Inferior Turbinate Surgery corrected them which resulted in the patient being able to breathe freely once again.
