Rhinoplasty and Eyelid Surgery*

Procedure Details

Every nose is different and Dr. Kridel consults with each patient to determine the amount of nasal reshaping that is consistent with their facial structure and their goals for surgery, while maintaining a natural appearance consistent with their ethnicity. This 49 year old Hispanic female was concerned with the deviation and length of her nose. She had previously broken her nose twice and subsequently had difficulty breathing, specifically on the left side. Nasal surgical procedures included rhinoplasty, septoplasty, and turbinate reduction. At her consultation, she was also interested in obtaining a younger, refreshed look. She was specifically concerned with both her upper and lower eyelids as well as the area under her chin and into the neck. Additional procedures included upper and lower eyelid surgery and submental liposuction.

Rhinoplasty Can Keep Ethnicity

Patients with various ethnic backgrounds often want to alter a genetic facial feature, most commonly their nose. However, having a Rhinoplasty does not have to mean that the surgeon has to take away all sense of ethnicity.
